Mirages - Improvised Compositions in Real Time -- Track 12

Here is another track off the Mirages CD experiment. Proof I don’t always improvise “slowly” or in any particular musical style.

Mirages – Audio CD

Improvised Compositions in Real Time by Richard Walker Performed live on a Kurzweil PC88-mx synthesizer

Track 12 uses the built-in “delay” on the synthesizeer which allows you to build thicker textures and also acts like a metronome of sorts.  Here I set the delay at 2 fast eighth-notes, and often play the eighth notes in triples to get the syncopated effect. If you stress the first eighth note the delay willl stress the third.

I wish I could remember exactly how I played those fast high passages.
